Why exist as an organization?
The ultimate purpose of the Association is to join God in His
Mission in the world, to bear witness to His redemptive
love,
to call men and nations to discipleship and to participation in His
action of liberation and reconciliation.
To be a two-way channel through which the resources
of the churches in the
Association can u,!fdergird,
enrich and shape the world of Tuckahoe churches in fulfillment of
its wide mission to all the world, and through which the re- sources
of the denomination can be made available to the churches in custom
building their own approach to their time and circumstances.
How is the association constituted?
The Association is composed of Baptist Churches in good standing by
the practicing of the doctrines, disciplines, and ordinance of the
Baptist denomination, annual, and life members.
The Association meets in various cities and countries on Monday,
after the second Sunday in September each year. It closes on
Thursday. A special Education Banquet is held that closing Thursday
evening in support of our scholarship fund. The Executive Board,
Auxiliaries and Divisions meet quarterly beginning the second week
in January.
What is the association purpose?
The purpose of the Association is to build
up the

,to promote the union of the
churches through fellowship and mutual concern.
The Association seeks further to exalt the name of the Lord Jesus
Christ everywhere and to seek to persuade all men to accept Him as
Lord and Master.
How does it perform Its Mission?
A.
Through Evangelism-Preaching/teaching non-Christians to know Jesus
Christ as Savior.
B.
Through Education-Enlightening minds by training persons for
leadership.
C.
Through Fellowship-Companionship, company of persons sharing
together.
D.
By contributing substantial sums of money to numerous Mission
Objectives.
