Our History

Founded in 1894 at Farran Chapel Methodist Church—now Evergreen Baptist Church in Goochland County—the Tuckahoe Baptist Association of Virginia was established by local ministers to address community needs, strengthen fellowship among churches, share resources, and support more effective ministry. Today, TBAVA continues that legacy by serving and connecting member churches throughout Central Virginia.

Through collaboration and shared purpose, our churches continue to impact communities through worship, education, outreach, and service.
